Family, we are blessed recipients of our ancestor's sacrifices; therefore, we should continue to instill in the younger generations a sense of identity, commitment, and strong family values. We should accomplish this by setting positive examples, being dedicated to the success of family gatherings, researching our roots, and working together as a family.  

The mission of the Sturgis{es} Family Reunion seeks to accomplish the following:

• Strengthen and preserve our family history 

• Identify and become more acquainted with our extended family members

• Identify and become more knowledgeable about our ancestors and their accomplishments
